The enemy waves move exactly like I remember from the arcade, and the ship controls feel tight enough to dodge those last-second shots. I actually caught myself leaning in my chair during the final invasion level, and it's a solid little pickup for any retro fan.
The button layout takes me straight back to the arcade, and the audio is spot-on for that 1978 vibe. I’ve already lost an embarrassing amount of time to wave after wave, and the ship controls feel tight enough to actually dodge.
The little screen is surprisingly crisp for such a compact player, and the controls have that satisfying click that makes dodging the invaders feel just right. I lost an hour to it on my lunch break and didn't regret a second of it.
