I was honestly surprised by how much the four new characters shake up the roster, each one plays completely differently and kept me experimenting for hours. The enhanced gameplay tightening is what really sells it, combos just feel crisper than the old arcade version I grew up on.
The four new stages add so much variety that I keep switching characters just to see them all. Each fight feels fresh now, and the difficulty curve is challenging but fair. I've already put in way more hours than I planned.
