Tetris® Micro Player Pro

I was worried this would feel gimmicky, but the 16-bit visuals are crisp and the classic block-dropping gameplay is perfectly faithful to the original. The controls are responsive enough that I can chain fast drops without any lag, which is exactly what I wanted for a quick lunch break session.

The sound effects and block rotation feel exactly like the classic 16-bit era, which is a huge nostalgia win for me. I've already lost an entire afternoon to this little thing, and the screen brightness is perfect for playing in bed at night.

It's been thirty years since I first played Tetris, and this little handheld brings back that exact same obsession. The 16-bit graphics are crisp and the buttons have a satisfying click, making those quick line clears feel just right.
