The controls feel snappy and responsive, which makes dodging those swarms of aliens way more satisfying than I expected. I've already lost an embarrassing amount of time to just one more round, and the nostalgia hits just right.
The pixel art and sound effects pull me right back to the arcade, and the controls feel tight enough for those last-second dodges. I've already sunk more hours into this than I'd like to admit, but the waves keep me hooked every time.
Honestly, I keep coming back to the fleet-defense mode more than I expected—it nails that frantic, "just one more wave" feeling. The controls are tight enough that even after a long day, I can jump in and get a solid run going without frustration.
