Space Invaders Joystick Player

The clicky joystick and rubber buttons bring back serious arcade-cabinet memories, and the response feels just as snappy as the original coin-op. Wave after wave of aliens, the tension still gets my heart going after all these years. This is exactly the nostalgia fix I was hoping for.

I was skeptical about how the joystick would handle rapid fire, but the controls respond well enough to chain through the alien waves without much lag. It's a bit stiff at first, though once you get used to the resistance it feels properly arcade-like.

The two-player mode brings back some serious nostalgia, and the joystick feels sturdy enough for aggressive play. Only wish the volume control was a bit more accessible during intense waves.
